Climate Related Financial Disclosure

(OSFI Guideline B‑15 – Annex 2‑2)
Governance
The Board of Directors has ultimate oversight of climate‑related risks and opportunities, supported by the Risk Management Committee. Climate‑related considerations are reviewed at least quarterly through enterprise risk reporting and integrated into strategic risk discussions.
Senior Management is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of climate‑related risks and opportunities, including integration into enterprise risk management, operational resilience planning, and third‑party oversight. Climate‑related considerations are incorporated, where appropriate, into governance processes and performance management.
Strategy
FTCC considers climate‑related physical and transition risks and opportunities across short‑, medium‑, and long‑term time horizons (0–2, 3–5, and 5+ years).
These risks and opportunities may affect FTCC’s financial position, financial performance, cash flows, cost structure, and access to capital, primarily through operational, regulatory, and third‑party channels.
Given the nature of FTCC’s business model, exposures are primarily indirect and are assessed in the context of operational resilience, regulatory developments, and third‑party dependencies. Climate‑related considerations are incorporated into operational planning and strategic decision‑making where relevant.
Risk Management
Climate‑related risks and opportunities are identified, assessed, prioritized, monitored, and escalated through FTCC’s Enterprise Risk Management framework and are integrated into the Risk Appetite Framework.
These risks are monitored through enterprise risk reporting, including the Key Risk Summary Dashboard, and reported to Senior Management, the Risk Management Committee, and the Board as appropriate.
Where relevant and proportionate, FTCC uses qualitative scenario analysis and stress considerations to assess potential future climate‑related impacts.
Metrics and Targets
FTCC uses metrics and indicators to assess climate‑related risks and opportunities, aligned with its strategy and risk management processes. These may include operational disruption indicators, third‑party resilience considerations, and regulatory developments.
Greenhouse Gas Emissions:
Given the nature of FTCC’s operations, Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions are currently assessed as limited. FTCC continues to evaluate its approach to emissions measurement and will enhance disclosure as appropriate.Targets:
FTCC maintains qualitative climate‑related objectives focused on effective governance and continued enhancement of climate‑related risk management practices. Progress is monitored through enterprise risk reporting and governance oversight.Basis of Preparation
This disclosure has been prepared in accordance with OSFI Guideline B‑15 (Annex 2‑2), which aligns with international standards such as IFRS S2.
FTCC applies a proportionate approach to climate‑related risk management and disclosure, reflecting the nature, scale, and complexity of its business activities. This disclosure is updated annually and made publicly available on the FTCC website.
